Steps to Sketch Your Floorplan
- Draw the shape of the room (top-down view).
- Label each wall with a different color (Wall 1, Wall 2, etc.).
- Mark doors and windows (and note which way doors open).
- Measure each wall and write the length on the sketch.
- Write the ceiling height somewhere on the page.
- Mark any fixed features (fireplaces, radiators, built-ins, etc.).
- Add outlets, vents, or anything that might affect furniture.
- Take a photo of the drawing and send it to me
