Interior design has alwaysfelt like an exclusive club: complicated, time-consuming, and out of reach for many. That’s why THE PROJECT was born. Not just as a design studio, but as a rebellion against the ordinary—a movement to make great design accessible, effortless, and entirely virtual. We believe design should be deeply personal.

More than just aesthetics, it’s about creating spaces that reflect who you are and how you live.

I'M ISABEL

 I’ve always been obsessed with design—not just architecture, not just interiors, but design everywhere.

The way a city flows, the way textures tell a story, the way a space makes you feel. Growing up across Mexico and the U.S., then studying in Denmark taught me to embrace bold ideas, while working in Tokyo with a Pritzker Prize-winning architect showed me the power of precision, intention, and the art of doing things right.

That’s when I truly saw how design shapes life. The problem? Good design felt exclusive—a luxury reserved for a few. That never sat right with me. Everyone deserves aspace that inspires them. That’s why I do what I do. I’m here to strip away the complexity, to make design accessible, bold, and deeply personal. Because a well-designed space isn’t just beautiful—it transforms the way you live. And sometimes, it’s the smallest details—an unexpected texture, a perfectly placed color, or even a custom illustration—that make a space truly yours.

We are two designers who have spent years creating spaces the traditional way—grand, intricate, carefully planned down to the last detail. The kind of work that take months, even years, to bring to life. 

And while the results were stunning, something always felt... off. Not in the design itself, but in the process. The endless timelines. The over complication. The idea that great design had to come with a side of stress, delays, and frustration.

There had to be another way. A way to give people spaces that felt just as intentional, just as breathtaking—without the wait, without the headache. So, we flipped the script. We took everything we knew about architecture, interior design, and the way spaces shape lives, and we built something different. A new way to experience design. One that was bold, seamless, and made sense for the way people live today. And that’s how THE PROJECT was born. A rebellion against the ordinary. A revolution in design.
